Centec Institute participates in a meeting with executives from e-TechSimulation

As an organization always on the forefront of new technologies for education and the working world, the Institute of Technological Education Center - Centec - attended last Tuesday (31/07) a meeting of the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Higher Education - Secitece - with executives from e-TechSimulation who aimed to present their products and services in the area of ​​professional training, academic and technology.
e-TechSimulation is a company present in more than 90 countries who specializes in simulation technology, acting directly in the training of operators that if they were undergoing training with real machinery, would face dangerous situations or high risk. The use of simulators provides several advantages, among them, reducing costs, since there is no fuel use, machinery wear, reduction in the risks of accidents and damage to property. The company offers its training services in the areas of port machinery, construction, mining, forestry, land transport, welding, graphic arts, among others.
Director of Extension and Technological Innovation, Adriano Batista, said he was excited about the new possibilities that can be achieved with the simulators, especially in building virtual laboratories. "The adoption of new techniques and technologies for learning in our training courses is completely in line with our mission to make technology transfer and the development of the state. The possibilities are endless! "Said the director enthusiastically.
The entire staff of the Institute Centec who was present at the meeting showed up eager to study the possibilities of using simulators in current units of the Centec Institute (CVT, and CVTEC FATEC) and even the CTTC - Technical Training Center of Ceara - which has scheduled its opening later this year and aims to meet the demands of training companies Pecém's Industrial Port Complex.

Also attended the meeting, representing the Institute Centec, Alécio Day, special advisor to the president, and Walter Goncalves, coordinator of the Division Support Extension Technology.
