Last Thursday (02/07), the Institute Centec received the visit of the president of the e-Tech Simulation, Mr. Marcelo Lusardo. The purpose of the visit was to present the educational simulators, which are used in CTTC, enabling courses with a new methodology.
According to the director of the Institute Centec, Georgia Aguiar, these devices are innovative and bring a good process of education and learning, "because through this methodology, we conduct practical classes in real situations, without jeopardizing the life of the student and avoiding damage to the machines," says the president.
Also according to the President, Centec is proposing to Secitece the purchase of equipment in the area of industrial welding and construction. "The proposal has already been submitted and are awaiting the release of funds from the State Government."
The main objective of the simulator is that users learn to operate real machines without the need of actual equipment. Therefore, the development and use of the simulator should have this purpose. The user will see a closer resemblance possible between real and simulated environment.
The use of simulators to train operators presents itself as very useful tool when adquiring habits in safe handling of equipment and at the same time implies a reduction in the costs of such training to enable the simultaneous performance of simulated exercises by several workers and, finally, an increased availability of equipment at the time of circulation.
